Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister of Tamil Nadu School Education participated in a review meeting on the progress of corona prevention activities held at the Tiruchirappalli District Collectorate on Friday. In the current context, the Tamil Nadu government is only paying serious attention to the corona issue. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has been giving priority to this issue.
So, there is no need to consult now about the opening of schools. The decision to reopen schools will only be made if the corona impact is completely reduced. We are also exploring whether schools can be used for corona treatment in this dire situation.
In that regard, the MLA of the constituency has suggested that the area school can provide bed facilities as there are not enough beds available for the patients in Muzaffarnagar. Students can enroll in Vocational Education based on Class 12 marks. Therefore, class 12 exams will be conducted after corona exposure is reduced. There are complaints that some private schools are forcing students to pay tuition fees even when they are not open.
In addition, complaints to the School Tuition Board are being investigated. He said the complaints would be brought to the notice of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and legal action would be taken.
