Paul Chandramohan, the Tamil Department HOD of Trichy Bishop Heber College, has been arrested on a sexual harassment charge. Trichy Srirangam Women’s Police have arrested him for allegedly sexually harassing students.
Five students at Trichy Bishop Heber College have lodged a sexual harassment complaint against Tamil Dept HOD Paul Chandramohan. Chandramohan was sacked following the complaint. The complaint against him was investigated by a seven-member inquiry panel on the orders of the district magistrate.
Based on the investigation, the investigation report was submitted to the District Collector. The Trichy District Collector directed the Trichy Municipal Police to take immediate action in this regard. The Trichy Srirangam Women’s Police are investigating the order.
A case has been registered under 5 Sections as it is revealed that there is a charge against the Trichy Bishop Heber College Tamil HOD Paul Chandramohan. Professor Paul Chandramohan was subsequently arrested. An investigation is underway into another professor who allegedly assisted him.
