Sugar ration cards can be converted into Rice ration cards … Government extends deadline till December 20
The Tamil Nadu government has said that sugar family card holders can, on merit, convert to rice family cards. A copy of the card can be attached to the website www.tnpds.gov.in to apply by December 20. There are 5,80,298 family cards in the public distribution system that receive sugar. Most of these have demanded that their cards be converted into rice family cards. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has accepted this.…
