Trichy for the past few days is facing rapid increase in Covid-19 cases.Amidst various control measures by the Trichy Corporation and guidelines from the government, people throw lockdown norms to wind by mass family gatherings. Government has set the norms as 50 people, the actual count seems more than the allowed count.
Various sources claims that the Family gatherings and Mass crowdings counts to more than 100 – 200 peoples in average, Families making such arrangements are not showing concern or interest over Masks and sanitizers.In the near past , atleast 10 to 15 Covid-19 cases are found to be due to such Family gatherings.
Many such gatherings and arrangements are being done without intimation to the Trichy corporation.Even some families are conducting such events in their homes accomodating to nearly 50 people.
Trichy Corporation officials have to make stringent actions and measures to control such activities and impose fine to prevent further such spread of the Covid-19 infection.
