The work of setting up a bird park on 1.63 hectares in Kamparasampet Panchayat, Andanallur Panchayat Union, Trichy District was started on November 20 last year. In this park, arrangements have been made to breed rare and exotic birds and domestic animals under natural conditions. Featuring a 7D mini-theatre and a nature trail through Sangam-era landscapes – kurinji, mullai, marutham, neithal, and palai. it showcases mountains, forests, plains, seashores, and deserts.

A 7D theater, a shop selling products produced by women’s self-help groups, and parking spaces are to be set up not only for the elderly and public to relax, but also for shade. At present, 50 percent work has been done in this park. The works will be carried out quickly and brought to public use.
